Coming in at number 8 on my list This is a great family movie, any time of the year. Children will love the fantasy of this movie, while adults can find humor in the underlying story. As a member of the legal community, I had to appreciate the play on words in the movie.

This movie is different from most of the Christmas movies I have seen. At Number 9 on my list is The Santa Clause. I believe that everyone can enjoy this movie. The story is both endearing and humorous. Christmas movies are usually aimed at teaching children about the true meaning of these season however, in reality there are a lot of adults who need that same reminder.

I had never really seen The Wasp or Giantman in any other movies or cartoons so these characters were fresh I had never seen Doctor Bruce Banner working on the Super Soldier Formula, but it makes sense. The interaction between the characters was well paced and drove the story along nicely. Seeing him adjust to life in the twenty first century was interesting. Seeing Captain America wake up after being frozen was very fulfilling for a comic book fan.

The story was exciting and engaging if you are into comic book stories. The Black widow voice acting was a little weak, and her Russian accent was horrible. The actor who voiced Captain America was particularly good. The voice acting will not win any awards but the actors did portray the characters well.

Animation has never been a strong point of these movies or cartoons, so the quality is no surprise. It is better than the 90s comic book cartoons, but not by much. The animation quality is standard for these types of movies, which is to say not that great. Game developers like to use this group as it incorporates many super heroes and many others come and go. The Avengers supergroup is commonly used in Marvel video games.

The characters we meet are Captain America, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Giantman, The Wasp The Hulk/Bruce Banner, Ironman, and Thor. This movie encompasses the creation of the Avengers and introduces some of the characters. The Ultimate Avengers is a cartoon movie based on Marvel Comic's popular super hero group, The Avengers.

Although utilizing the exact same premise, this film adaptation has been transformed from a procedural drama into a raunchy comedy. According to Wikipedia, it was a police drama in which young looking undercover police officers infiltrated high schools and colleges to investigate crimes. Full disclosure. I have not watched a single episode of the original TV series. No, I won't say who makes them. The filmmakers even work in two unexpected but very welcome cameo appearances.

The rest of the film is a surprisingly entertaining romp, one that has an emotional core despite being pervasively crude and at times highly violent. Fortunately, the filmmakers had the foresight to get this out of the way as quickly as possible. Nothing threatens to ruin a movie faster than winking at the audience in a showy display of self referential humor. 21 Jump Street treads on thin ice in an early scene where it's explained that the police department has revived a specialty division that started in the 1980s, that it's part of a trend of resurrecting and modernizing old programs due to a lack of original ideas and that they're hoping the public won't notice.

But director, Jonathan Liebesman, has already dropped one spoiler on us that might ruin it for everyone the trident that Zeus, played by Liam Neeson, is carrying is only one of many celestial weapons needed to create an mega weapon of the gods. Wrath Of The Titans, the long awaited sequel to the 2010 epic Clash Of The Titans is scheduled to appear in theaters March 30, 2012.
