Movie Trailer Wedding Proposal

If Sandra Bullock movies could be characterized in one word, it would be "reality." The actress doesn't look like a Barbie doll. She has a freshness that is usually attributed to the girl next door. The movies portray believable characters even when they are given a touch of real life humor. She has been recognized by her peers in 2009 with a nomination for her role in Blind Side. Miss Bullock's comedic roles are real life humor. Life is funny without making a fuss about adding humor to the movies. Her characters see the funny elements in difficult surroundings and situations. In The Proposal, from 2009, she plays a city executive transplanted to the Canadian wilderness.

A desire to be in a comedy genre film that isn't predictable comedy placed Miss Bullock in Miss Congeniality 2. This movie didn't follow the path of many happily-ever-after stories, but had unique character development of Regina King. Unlike many of this type of movie there were some terrific fight scenes. The movie Crash deals with ethnic diversity in the city of Los Angeles. Racial intolerance is dealt with on several different levels. Miss Bullock lists this movie as her favorite in over 30 movies she had completed. She is successful enough that she can pick the movies that she wants to be a part of.

Miss Bullock received her first nomination for an Academy Award with the movie Blind Side. Her dramatic role is that of foster mother for Michael Oher of National Football League fame. The movie is a serious role based on a true story.
