He was awarded student scholarship by Warner Brothers to study and work on the making of a He went on to win the first prize for his short film Electronic Labyrinth, THX 1138 4EB at the 1967-68 National Student Film Festival (this film was later adapted by him into a full length feature film, THX 1138 which was also his first). He graduated in fine arts in 1967 and later in the year re enrolled as a UC graduate student in film production. There he excelled in camera work and editing and loved making abstract films creating emotions purely through cinema.

It was one of the earliest universities to have a school for motion picture film. He then went on to enroll himself at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. Later he became infatuated with abstract films. It was during this period he developed an interest in cinematography and camera tricks and became a promising photographer. He later went on to study anthropology.

But a major accident just around his school graduation put an end to this dream. He aspired to become a professional racecar driver. During his teen he was very much interested in drag car racing. on May 14, 1944. to Dorothy Lucas and George Lucas Sr.

Lucas was born as George Walton Lucas, Jr. He is known as the creator of Star wars, the American epic space opera franchise, and also the famous character of Indiana Jones. George Lucas is one of America's most successful producer cum director, with an estimated worth of $3.5 million.
